Introduction

All the classes focus upon asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), meditation, relaxation and philosophy.

General Yoga

The aims is to primarily work with the body through the use of the breath and movement and ultimately to bring our awareness in. All classes are mixed ability, with variations given if necessary.

Pregnancy Yoga Classes

Being pregnant can be a special time that allows you to connect with your baby. It can also be a time where you can be physically and emotionally challenged. Pregnancy yoga helps to support you through this time and helps you prepare for the birth of your baby.

Yoga and active birth postures that will help during the trimesters and your birth experience. Breathing and relaxation techniques that can help calm and relax you, and the opportunity to meet and gain support from other mums.

Mum & Baby Yoga

Postnatal recovery is essential to the wellbeing of new mums. In this class we focus upon the recovery and well being of mums and encouraging the babies to come from the womb to the room.

A typical class will try to help with the following:

  • For Mums – relieve stress and tension in the neck, shoulders and lower back. Pelvic floor recovery and ultimately a time to relax.
  • For babies – hip opening sequences, wind relieving postures and much more.
